Partial Van Wrap

A partial van wrap covers the panels that do the most work: the big flat sides, the rear doors, or both, and leaves the rest of the van in its factory colour. The design is planned around that colour so the finished van looks deliberate, not half done.

Partial Van Wrap

A partial van wrap covers the panels that do the most work: the big flat sides, the rear doors, or both, and leaves the rest of the van in its factory colour. The design is planned around that colour so the finished van looks deliberate, not half done.

It is the route most small fleets and single-van businesses take first. You get proper branding on the road for noticeably less than a full wrap, because less film and less fitting time are involved, and you can always extend the coverage later.

Options

  • Side panel graphics sized to the largest, flattest part of the van
  • Rear door designs, which are what traffic behind you reads at every stop
  • Colour bands and shapes that tie the wrapped panels into the van's own paint
  • Partial wrap combined with cut lettering for the doors, hood and front panels

Partial designs work especially well on white and light-coloured vans, which is why so many trade and delivery fleets start here.

Good to know

Most partial van wraps take 1 to 2 days to fit, depending on the van and the amount of coverage. The films are the same 3M, Avery Dennison and Oracal products we use on full wraps, so partial does not mean lower grade. Life expectancy is the same 5 to 7 years with hand washing and gentle soap, the install is covered by our warranty, and the covered panels get the same paint protection as a full wrap.

Common questions

How much of the van should I cover?

That depends on the van and your budget. Sides plus rear doors cover what most people actually see, and we will show you options on a proof of your model before you decide.

Will the edge of the film be obvious?

A well-planned design uses the van's lines and colour so the boundary reads as part of the graphics. On a proof you will see exactly where the film starts and stops.

Can I upgrade to a full wrap later?

Yes. Many customers start partial and add coverage when the business grows. Keeping the same design files makes the extension straightforward.
