FAQ
Frequently Asked Questions
These are the questions that come up on almost every first call. If yours is not here, ask us at 416-708-5256 or through the contact page.
How long does a wrap installation take?
Plan on 2 to 4 days with us. A simple partial job on a small car sits at the short end; a printed full wrap on a large van, with a design that has to line up across panels, sits at the long end.
Which vinyl films do you install?
We work with 3M, Avery Dennison and Oracal. Between them they cover the finishes customers ask for: gloss, matte, satin, metallic, chrome and the colour-change ranges, plus the print films used for custom graphics.
Can you handle the design, or do I bring my own?
Either works. Our designers build wrap artwork in-house and show you a proof on your vehicle's layout for approval. If your company already has a designer, send their print-ready files and we will check them against the vehicle before printing.
Will a wrap damage my paint?
No. On sound factory paint, the film sits on top as a protective layer and guards against stone chips, road salt and small scratches. Damage usually only shows up where paint was already failing before the wrap went on, which is something we point out at booking.
How do I wash a wrapped vehicle?
Wash it by hand with a soft cloth or sponge and a mild, non-abrasive soap, then rinse and dry as usual. Give the wrap a full day after installation before its first wash.
How long does a wrap last?
Expect 5 to 7 years from a quality film that is looked after. Sun exposure, winter salt and how the vehicle is washed decide where in that range yours lands.
Can a wrap be taken off later?
Yes. Removal is a normal part of the wrap's life, and on original paint it comes away without harming the finish. We suggest having it done professionally, since heat and technique decide how cleanly old film releases.
Is there a warranty?
Yes, our installations are covered by warranty. If a panel lifts or an edge lets go because of the install work, we make it right.
Can I drive the vehicle right after the install?
Yes, it is yours to drive as soon as the final inspection is done. The only hold-back is washing: wait at least 24 hours before the first one.
What does it cost to wrap my vehicle?
The honest answer is that it follows the vehicle: its size, how much of it you cover, the film you pick and how much design work is involved. Consultations and estimates are free, so send the details through the quote page and get a real number for your vehicle instead of a guess.
